The United Arab Emirates have not ratified the Hague Convention abolishing the requirement of legalization of foreign public documents dated October 5, 1961, therefore the Government agencies of the country do not accept or issue apostilled documents. Each document submitted to the Government authorities (birth certificate, marriage certificate, certificates of education, official letters, corporate documents, etc.) should be translated into English or Arabic, certified in the country that issued it and then attested in the Emirates. A similar requirement is applied by the public authorities of other countries, to the documents issued by the United Arab Emirates. Marbag Consulting in Dubai will take care of translation and certification of your corporate documents in the UAE.
